Every guide on this site is written or reviewed by our editorial team before publishing. We prioritize practical, specific advice over generic filler — if a technique guide describes a submission, it describes real mechanics, common mistakes, and counters, not a rewritten summary of what's already on page one of Google.
How We Keep Content Current
Rules, rankings, and gear recommendations change. Pages on this site show a "last updated" date, and we revisit our highest-traffic guides on a regular schedule to correct anything that's gone stale — a rule change from the IBJJF, a discontinued product, or a technique breakdown that needs a clearer explanation.
