Cassio Werneck received his black belt in 1998 under Ricardo "Tanque" Reis of the Osvaldo Alves lineage and is a multiple-time IBJJF Masters World Champion. He has taught in Sacramento for more than two decades and has cornered elite MMA fighters including Urijah Faber.
