Minnesota Martial Arts Academy
Founded in 1992 by Greg Nelson, who was awarded his BJJ black belt in 2002 by Pedro Sauer after first training with Rickson Gracie in 1989. The academy is one of the best-known MMA and grappling gyms in the Upper Midwest, having trained UFC fighters such as Sean Sherk and Brock Lesnar.
