Richmond Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Self-Defense Academy
Founded in 2002, Richmond BJJ is led by Trey Martin, a 4th-degree black belt certified under Julio "Foca" Fernandez — a 7th-degree coral belt under the late Grandmaster Carlson Gracie Sr. who went undefeated across two hundred matches on the Carlson Gracie competition team. The West Broad Street academy teaches gi, no-gi and self-defense classes for adults and kids.
