2026 ADCC West Coast Trials Results

The 2026 ADCC West Coast Trials served as the final North American qualifier for ADCC 2026 in Krakow, Poland, running April 19 at Fairplex Expo Hall 9 in Pomona, California. Over 700 grapplers entered for just eight available invites.

Michael Sainz won a stacked 190-athlete field at 77kg, while Gianni Grippo returned to ADCC nearly a decade after his debut with a win at under 66kg. Five of the eight finals were decided by score or referee decision rather than submission — a sign of how tight the pace was at the top of each bracket, and a good reminder that a clean takedown or dominant top position can be worth as much as a finish under ADCC scoring.
