Ana Carolina "Baby" Vieira arrives at the 2026 ADCC World Championship in Krakow, Poland (September 12–13) as the defending -65kg champion, and one of the favorites to become the next Brazilian woman to go back-to-back at the event.
Vieira won her first ADCC title in 2024 in Las Vegas, taking the -65kg final over 17-year-old prodigy Helena Crevar in a tense 5-0 overtime — a result that also made her and her wife, 2009 ADCC champion Luanna Alzuguir, the first married couple to both hold ADCC world titles. Outside of no-gi, Vieira is a three-time IBJJF gi world champion known for a relentless knee-cut guard pass, and in 2018 she won both the IBJJF gi and no-gi world titles in the same season.
A repeat win in Krakow would put her in rare company among female multiple-time ADCC champions, alongside names like Gabi Garcia and Kyra Gracie. With Crevar and a deep field of returning trials qualifiers standing in her way, the -65kg bracket is shaping up as one of the tournament's must-watch divisions.
